A little bit on me

I’m based on the west coast in Vancouver at Simon Fraser University, an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.

I’m from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I completed my undergrad in sociology and political science at Dalhousie University, playing soccer for King’s. I earned my graduate degrees at Carleton University in Ottawa. After my PhD, I taught at the University of Ottawa and the University of Windsor. I still love Dartmouth, City of Lakes.

In the future, I’d like to explore ways of expanding mobility justice and bringing it to other-than-human persons. I plan on experimenting with my academic work, putting it into wider political and artistic practice. I have an abiding appreciation of crows.
