I’m based on the west coast in Vancouver at Simon Fraser University, an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.
I’m from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I completed my undergrad in sociology and political science at Dalhousie University, playing soccer for King’s. I earned my graduate degrees at Carleton University in Ottawa. After my PhD, I taught at the University of Ottawa and the University of Windsor. I still love Dartmouth.
In the future, I’d like to explore ways of expanding mobility justice and bringing it to other-than-human persons. I plan on experimenting with putting my academic work on cycling into wider, political and artistic practice. I have an abiding appreciation of crows.
